Dr. Krishnendu Nandi is a globally recognized Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon with over 17 years of dedicated experience in diagnosing and treating complex retinal diseases. As a Senior Vitreo-Retinal Consultant at Netralayam (VIP Road) and Co-Director of Netralayam Eye Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Nandi combines clinical excellence, cutting-edge surgical techniques, and evidence-based medicine to provide world-class eye care.
Academic Excellence & Training
- MBBS (2000): Graduated at the top of his class from Medical College, Kolkata, earning a prestigious Gold Medal for academic distinction.
- MS in Ophthalmology (2006): Completed post-graduation at the renowned Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO), Medical College, Kolkata, securing a Silver Medal.
- Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship (2007–2009): Pursued advanced sub-specialization at Sri Bhagwan Mahavir Vitreo Retinal Services, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Trained under Dr. Lingam Gopal, Dr. Tarun Sharma, and Dr. Pramod Bhende, earning a Gold Medal upon fellowship completion in 2009.
